Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia
Here are some important updates from Murdoch University regarding adjustments to their International Welcome Scholarship (students applying from outside of Australia).
Welcoming new students into our supportive community has always been at the heart of Murdoch University.
As such, Murdoch is extending the International Welcome Scholarship-Australia to all eligible new students (including those applying from outside of Australia) who accept their Murdoch offer for Semester 2, 2020, and those that need to defer their studies until semester 1 2021 due to COVID-19.
The International Welcome Scholarship-Australia is valued at a 20% fee reduction of the total course fee and more information can be found here.
Eligible students who are granted advanced standing due to previous studies will receive the 20% scholarship.
Note: Excluded courses: Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Veterinary Biology + Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Commencing Online for Semester Two 2020
With a confirmed decision still pending from the Australian Government on when the interstate and international borders will be opened, we understand that it may be difficult for students to travel to Perth in time for the commencement of Semester 2 2020.
Murdoch remains committed to offering a quality education experience and is encouraging those students outside of Perth, to commence their Semester 2 2020 studies online.
New commencing Semester 2 2020 students studying online, will have the flexibility to enroll in any number of units.
Murdoch is also offering a full refund to eligible students who decide to withdraw after commencement and before Semester 2, 2020 census date (22 August 2020).
If the student is still enrolled after the census date but is not successful in being granted a Student Visa, a standard refund policy will apply.
Forecast Results and English tests
We are pleased to advise that we will accept Official Forecast Results for International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge A level qualification, with a predicted score of at least 2 points above the published minimum requirement, for entry into Semester Two 2020.
In addition, we also recognize the IBT TOEFL Home edition test as meeting our English requirements. Further updates As there remain many unanswered questions regarding COVID-19, you can rest assured that we are looking into several new initiatives to cater to our current and future students.
We will keep you updated on new announcements as and when these decisions are made. If you have any questions, do feel free to write to our team at info@aipedu.com or call us at 9851161451.
