Study In Canada - Begin Online And Get The Post-Work Permit

We are glad to share positive news for international students looking to start their educational journey in Canada this year.

The Government of Canada announced that the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP) eligibility will not be impacted if a student’s Fall 2020 courses need to be online due to COVID-19.

This announcement aligns with guidance previously provided to students that are currently studying in Canada and those with a Spring or Summer 2020 start date.

In these situations, students studying at a designated learning institution (DLI) will be able to:

  • Start their classes online from a location outside of Canada
  • Complete up to 50% of their program online if they are unable to travel to Canada sooner
  • Additionally, students will not have time deducted from the length of a future PGWPP for studies completed outside of Canada up to December 31, 2020.

Students can save their living costs and time by starting the Canadian Journey from their homes.
